Learn how to use super:Link in Super.so to turn database items into clickable preview cards that redirect users to dedicated subpages, keeping your navigation clean and content well-structured.
In Super.so, database items don’t always have to act as the final content page. Instead, you can use them as preview cards and redirect users to a separate, fully designed subpage for more details.
This approach is ideal when you want to showcase multiple items while letting users explore full content on dedicated pages.
How to Set It Up
Step 1: Add a super:Link Property
- In your Notion database, create a new property of type URL.
- Name it exactly:
super:Link(case-sensitive)
Step 2: Paste the Relative Path
- Open your live Super site
- Navigate to the subpage where the full content lives
- Copy the path only, not the full URL. Example:
/guides/how-to-get-started-with-super-and-notion- Paste this path into the
super:linkproperty for the relevant database item
How It Works
- Each database item acts as a clickable preview card
- Clicking it redirects users directly to the corresponding dedicated subpage
- This bypasses the default Notion page view, giving users a cleaner and more polished experience
