How to install Outseta on a Super site

Log in to your Outseta dashboard and go to Auth > Sign up and Login.

In this section, configure where users should go after signing up or logging in.

Add the Post login URL. This is the page members should see after they log in, such as the member home page.

Example:

https://example.com/members/member-home

Then add the Post sign up URL. This is the page users should see after completing signup, such as a thank-you page, check-your-email page, or onboarding page.

Example:

https://example.com/check-your-email

Save your changes.

In Outseta, go to Auth > Embeds.

Find the Head script section and copy the full script.

This script allows Outseta to load on your Super site.

Important: Copy the full script exactly as shown in Outseta.

Go to your Super dashboard and open the site where you want to install Outseta.

Then:

1. Go to Code.
2. Open the Head tab.
3. Paste the Outseta head script.
4. Click Save changes.

The script should be added to the Head section, not the Body or CSS section.

Once saved, Outseta can load across your Super site.

Return to Outseta > Auth > Embeds.

Copy the links you want to use on your Super site:

• Sign up link — for new members creating an account
• Login link — for existing members signing in
• Profile link — for members managing their account or billing details
• Logout link — for members signing out.
• Note: Your logout link should have ?o-logout-link appended at the end as opposed to #o-logout-link.

If needed, select the correct plan before copying the signup link.

For the logout link, you can either set a specific redirect URL after logout or leave it blank to keep users on the current page.

Add the copied Outseta links to the relevant buttons or navigation items on your Super site.

Common placements include:

• Signup button on the pricing page
• Login button in the navbar
• Profile or account link inside the members area
• Logout link inside the members area or account section

Example button labels:

• Sign up
• Login
• My account
• Logout

In Outseta, go to Auth > Protected content.

Click Add content group.

A content group lets you define which Super pages should be protected and which plans are allowed to access them.

Enter a clear internal name for the group.

For example:

• Members Area
• Paid Members
• Course Access
• Private Resources

In the content group settings, add the Super page or folder you want to protect under Hidden URLs.

Example:

https://example.com/members

Choose how Outseta should match the URL.

Use Equals if you only want to protect one exact page.

Use Starts with if you want to protect the main page and any pages under the same URL path.

For example, using Starts with on:

https://example.com/members

can also protect:

https://example.com/members/resources

https://example.com/members/courses

For most member areas, Starts with is usually the better option.

Next, add an Access Denied URL. This is where users should be sent if they do not have access.

Example:

https://example.com/access-denied

Then select which plans or add-ons should have access to the protected content.

Save the content group when done.

After setup, test the full flow from a visitor’s point of view.

• Check that the Outseta head script was added to Super > Code > Head and that the changes were saved.
• Also confirm that the signup, login, or profile link was copied correctly from Outseta.

• Check the Post login URL and Post sign up URL in Outseta.
• Make sure both URLs use the live Super site URL or custom domain.

• Check the protected content group in Outseta. Confirm that:
• The correct Super URL was added
• The correct URL matching rule was selected
• The content group was saved
• The Outseta script is installed in Super’s Head section
• If you are protecting a folder or nested members area, use Starts with instead of Equals.

• Check that the member is assigned to the correct plan in Outseta.
• Also confirm that the correct plan is selected in the content group’s access settings.
