RSS and Atom feeds are essential for websites, especially blogs, as they allow users to easily subscribe and receive updates, saving time and enhancing website visibility and content distribution. Now you can enable RSS and ATOM feeds on your Notion databases in Super.
Adding a feed to your site
- In Notion add the meta properties to your database - these are used to create the content of the News feed.
- Next on the database or database view that you want to be the main source of the News feed, ensure that these properties are displayed in the view. Do this by clicking the three dots on the view and show the meta properties on the database view
- Now, in Super navigate to the page in the Page list and Edit the page. From here you can click the Feeds button.
- Next select the database view that you want to use as the source of the feed and save.
- After the next page sync or press of the dashboard refresh button, the feed will be added to the page.
Property | Type | Description |
meta:title | text | Used as the title of the article in the Feed |
meta:description | text | Used as the description of the article in the Feed |
meta:image | file | Used as the thumbnail image for the article in the Feed |
meta:author | person | Used as the Author |
And that’s it! Now site vistors can subscribe to your feed by using the url of the page. You can even add an RSS icon to the footer from the Footer menu in Super.
