With Super, you can take advantage of the organizing power of Notion databases to build a complex and rich site.
You can use Notion databases to add more comprehensive and categorized content beyond blocks. Databases are collections of pages you can display and sort in different ways. Notion offers two types of databases — inline and full-page. An inline database will display within an existing page, while a full-page database will create a separate, standalone page. You can learn more about databases in this introductory guide by Notion.
What type of database to use
Some database use cases on a website include:
A collection of clickable blog entries — use the list view in Notion

A photo gallery — use the gallery view

A table of job listings — use the table or board view

A collection of online resources — use a gallery or board view

An availability or event calendar — use the calendar view

Database content is pages held within the database and work as subpages for your site. Each database page can have properties, and you can hide these properties in Super with Settings → Databases → Hide database page details.
To create a simple in-line database:
- Open the Notion page you want to use for displaying the database
- Type
/databaseand select Database - Inline - Name your database (you can hide the title by pressing the three dots (more icon) next to your database title and selecting Hide database title). This will also hide the title in Super.
- Leave the database in the default Table layout or change it to Board, Calendar, List, or a Gallery layout by clicking the three dots (more icon) and choosing your selection under Layout (learn more about different database views here)
- Add content and properties to the database pages
- Database pages are clickable by default. To make them non-clickable, turn on Settings → Databases → Make database items unclickable.
To create a full-page database:
- Click the plus (+) icon next to your homepage to create a new subpage. Give your page a title and select one of the Database layouts you want to use
- OR type
/databaseand select Database - Full page - Either select an existing data source to link (make sure the page you select is a subpage of your homepage) or click New database to create one from scratch
