Super shows this problem when a page still exists in Notion, but it is no longer inside the Notion page you connected to Super. Visitors get a 404 at its URL.
What is your site's home page?
It is the one Notion page you connected when you created your site. Think of it as a box: every page inside it (and inside its sub-pages) is part of your website. A page outside the box is not.
Where to find it: in the Super dashboard, open your site, go to Settings and look at Notion Page URL. Open that link — the Notion page you see is your home page.
Why it happens
Super only publishes the home page you connected and the pages nested under it. This protects you from publishing private Notion pages by accident, even when they are shared publicly.
A page usually ends up outside your site when someone:
- moved it to another place in your Notion workspace,
- moved a parent page (with this page inside it) out of the site,
- duplicated the page and kept the copy elsewhere.
How to fix it
Keep the page on your site:
- In the Super dashboard, open Pages, click the three dots next to the page and choose View in Notion.
- In Notion, drag the page back under your site's home page (or under any page that is already on your site).
- Back in Super, click the refresh button in the dashboard preview. The page is published again at the same URL.
You don't need the page any more:
- Redirect it to another page or URL so visitors and search engines don't land on a 404. See Beginner's Guide to Page Redirects.
- Or delete it from your site in Pages (three dots → remove). This only removes the page from Super; your Notion page is not changed.
